We are a small family-owned farm that raises organic grass-fed sheep with a holistic goal in mind. It is our strong belief that the gut is the key to a healthy life. But where does that start? It starts with the food you eat.

We find the same microorganisms in our gut as we find in the soil. Makes sense, right? You eat fruits and vegetables that are grown from soil. So by applying toxic chemicals (herbicides, pesticides, fertilizers, etc.), we are killing all of the microbiology in the soil, leaving us with dirt (read our blog for more on this) incapable of growing plants without costly toxic inputs. Consequently, we eat food that is stripped of the organisms that would replenish our gut. Plus, the same food is loaded with preservatives to ensure that there are absolutely no surviving microbiology left in that food. Not only that, microorganisms are responsible for providing plants with every mineral—not just nitrogen, phosphorus, and potassium. You kill them and our food is left with little to no nutritive value.

This is why we started farming.

That way we control how the animals were raised and cared for, restoring the ground and our health from malnutrition and heavy metal toxicity (malnutrition exacerbates the issue). We want to help you do the same through real food and educational content.

We don’t claim to have it all figured out, but we know without a doubt that many of the things that what we were taught about agriculture was a lie.
