Ewes, rams, lambs, and culls up for sale! |
It’s been a minute.Hey! It has been a busy year for us on and off the farm, so I haven’t been on top of providing farm updates as I would like. But, I do have an announcement to make: We have plenty of both mature and lambs to start or add to your own flock! As of this email, we currently have 8 ewe lambs and 11 ram lambs available. Prices are $250 per lamb, but we may discount any that are less thrifty/slower in development. I’m still getting everything posted on our site, so read this post or check our listings on classifieds here for the latest. If you don’t see something or would like more information, email us or text me (931-996-1353) with what you’re looking for! 2025 lambs at $250 Breeding rams starting at $225 Breeding ewes starting at $200 Culls from $150 to $200 Unsold culls will be slated for processing no later than December, and the goal is to process unsold ram lambs around March, so act fast if you want any of our culls, or let us know if you want to be on the waiting list for grass-fed meat! |
2+ Year Old Breeding Ewes – Starting at $250There are some very sweet girls in this bunch that didn’t make the winter cut, unfortunately, as some are among my favorites. The most friendly, docile, and who love a good scratch are: #2, #15, #17, #19 (these four are great friends, and would prefer to keep them together), #203, #204, #207, and #212. |
1-3 Year Old Culls – Starting at $150With winter coming and the fact that we are downsizing our flock to only the best, we have a few that just aren’t up to par when it comes to their ability to gain and maintain weight solely on grass year-round (on our pasture, that is, which has a long ways to go), but the following are still good enough to be bred once you build up their weight with higher nutritional diet (i.e. grain, high-protein hay, etc.): - #732 (3-year-old Pure St. Croix): Featured above. Good mother, and definitely doesn’t hold back on the milk for her lambs. I bred her with my Katahdin ram last fall, and she gave us the beautiful lamb you see next to her. Asking $200 OBO.
- #728 (3-year-old Pure St. Croix): She had twins in 2024 and a singleton this year. Asking $150 OBO
- #734 (3-year-old Pure St. Croix): Good mother, keeps up with her lambs. Asking $150 OBO.
- #24 (3-year-old Pure St. Croix): Friendly, decent frame just needs weight. Asking $125 OBO
I have photos of all the above, so just reach out to me if you don’t see them on our site. Other culls that should either be kept as non-breeding pets or put in the freezer as ground meat are: |
Breeding Rams (1-2 Years Old) – Starting at $250We have some quality studs in this group of rams, all docile and well-tempered. Great frame, size, and weight. Thriving just beautifully. Yearlings: - #407 (Pure St. Croix): $225
Developing into a nice stud. Not far off in size from our two-year-old rams. - #410 (Pure St. Croix): $220
Looking good, and starting to catch up to #407. - #412 (St. Croix): $225
Beautiful colors, not sure what he was crossed with. - #401 (St. Croix / Katahdin): $300
Great frame and condition—he’s turning out to be like his daddy, who gets fat on air. First-generation descendant of dam and sire bought from Greg Judy in August 2023.
2-Year-Olds - #253 (2-year-old Pure St. Croix): $275 OBO
- #11 (2-year-old Pure St. Croix): $275 OBO
- #16 (2-year-old Pure St. Croix): $275 OBO
- #22 (2-year-old Pure St. Croix): $275 OBO
